Learning about feelings

These emotion cards help children better understand and express their feelings. You can use the cards in the following ways:

  • Naming emotions: Show a card and ask your child, “How do you think the person is feeling?”

  • Recognizing their own feelings: Let your child choose a card that represents their current mood.

  • Talking about emotions: Discuss together when your child feels this way and what helps them in such moments.

  • Finding solutions: Talk about what can be done when feeling sad or scared, for example.

Through regular practice, children learn to recognize their emotions and handle them better.
