My Baby Failed the Newborn Hearing Screening

Approximately one to three newborns per thousand are born with hearing loss. If your baby does not pass the initial hearing screening, it could be due to reasons such as fluid or debris in the ears, crying or movement during testing, or excessive noise in the testing environment. It's crucial to arrange for follow-up testing as soon as possible if this happens. Remember that early testing and treatment for hearing loss can greatly improve outcomes for your baby.
